Pardon the title, but it is what it is! Have you ever watched the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC???? Please don't! Unless you would like to be highly irritated by some woman who is so far left that her left Thumbkin does not know that her right Thumbkin exists! She drives me nuts! From her upturned lip to her constant critiscism of everything Bush!!!! Does anyone care if the government listens to your conversations??? If we are catching terrorists who want to kill Americans--bring it on!!!! If the FBI or CIA or Bush himself would like to listen to me listen to Cathy yell at her kids, please do!!!! (No offense Cat!). If they would like to listen to Sarah worry her wits out over Rocco, please do! If they would like to listen to... I mean really! To protect America, PLEASE DO!!! Next subject...please send some terror prisoners to our over crowded prisons! Or better yet, send them back to Afganistan so they can go out and wage terror against our men and women in uniform! By the way, let's add tea and crumpets to the interrogation room to make sure no one feels uncomfy! (Rachel Maddow just called the Obama team the George Bush clean up team!) All I can say is if some crazy dude wants to bomb our country, please poke his eyes, tickle his feet, and let Jack Bauer loose on hime!
I could go on, especially since I am stil torturing myself with R.Maddow! I just can't believe that anyone more annoying than Keith Oberman is allowed on TV. Maybe they should broadcast Rachel Maddow at Gitmo to torture the terrorists to spill their beans! Enough! Love you all!

Ashlie's Birthday!
I can't believe that she is four! December 11, 2004, this chunky little smiley faced baby girl entered my life. Ashlie Brooke Guerrero, my little sweet baby, is now my sweet four year old. I know, she has some sour moments, but don't we all! It honestly seems like yesterday that I was carrying around that butt donut to cushion the hemorroids that she gave me after three exhausting hours of pushing! I have had four wonderful years of amazement, learning, and loving! I still love to hold her and just kiss, kiss, kiss her cheeks! Tonight super nanny was on with her naughty children, so Ashlie was extra good. She likes to one up all of those naughty kids. I hope she never decides to learn from them. I am so blessed and thankful to my Father in Heaven for entrusting this beautiful child to me. Happy 4th Year to you my darling!

Update!
So much has happened since the last post. The big ones are Ashlie's 4th Birthday, and Tony's promotion to road patrol officer from animal control at the police department. Tony was sworn into his position on December 16. It was really neat to see him up there, fullfilling his goal. I am very proud of him and love him so much. He is such a wonderful father and husband, doing all that he can so that I can stay home and take care of the kids.
Ashlie's birthday party was a hit. She had some of her friends over for cake, games, and gifts. Well, the games did not really make it, the girls just wanted to play in Ash's room. But it was a good time for all. I love Ashlie so much. She brings me so much happiness and silliness! She is so fun to dance around with, read with, go shopping with, and just be with. I am so blessed to have this sweet daughter as mine!
Dad came for a visit the beginning of December. It had almost been 2 years since seeing him, and I was soooo happy to see him, as were the kids. They are so curious about this Minnesota Grandpa! I cry like a little girl whenever Dad goes home, Tony thinks I am nuts. But I truly miss him, and am always so thankful to spend time together.
We have also had Christmas and the Sparks here for a visit. I will do a Christmas post later.
So life is good and we are always moving forward. Maxxwell is coming along, he is really a Mama's boy, let's leave it at that. I have chilled out about trying to get him on a schedule and being so structured. Going with the flow is less stress for all! Love to all!

Being Mom
Mom, Cathy, and Sarah have all talked to me today and encouraged me. Maxxwell is the biggest challenge of my universe! I have successfully managed and grown a business, kept a spotless home, kept myself in shape, and thus far raised a very smart and wonderful 4 year old. But at 3:3o in the morning, when Tony and I were frustrated and arguing after Maxx had been up since midnight, and Ash came in and said what can I do to help, I have been at my wits end. When will this cute boy sleep??? We finally got the tree up. But where's the village??? Ashlie wonders. My friend and visiting teacher, Jen, had this song on her blog. I truly needed it. I honestly wonder some days what am I doing?? How long will I have to hold Maxx for 20 hours a day??? How long will I have to look at dirty floors and laundry that is not put away??? So here is the song. Thanks for sharing it, and I hope that anyone who is feeling like me, like where are the padded walls, will be able to feel uplifted after reading. Love you all!
WHO YOU ARE
I know you wonder if you'll ever have a day
When the kids stay calm, the laundry's done, and the dishes are put away.
And sometimes you feel like your days are spent and gone
And the question running through your mind is what have I gotten done?
And when you finally have a moment to slow down
At the end of your dayI know Father would say
Believe in what you're doing
Believe in who you are
Hold tight to the truth that you're a daughter of God
Believe in who you're becoming
Believe in who you are
It may seem simple-all the little things you do
But the lives you touch matter so much
And there's no one else like you
And Father needs you to stand tall and faithful
To be all you can be
Oh, if you could see what He sees, you'd Believe in what you're doing
Believe in who you are
Hold tight to the truth that you're a daughter of God
Believe in who you're becoming
Believe in who you are
When it's hard to believe in yourself
And you feel like you're beginning to doubt
Remember He believes in what you're doing
He believes in who you are
Don't lose sight of the truth that you're a daughter of God
That he believes in who you're becoming
He believes in who you are

Halloween Fun!

| Make a Smilebox scrapbook |
Maxx's first Halloween was a lot of fun! Ashlie was a fairy, pardon me - the flightly fairy, and Maxx was her sidekick as the Prince of the Fairies! All day long she was calling him her prince. It was really cute. And people that don't know us very well thought that she was such a sweet sister, calling him her prince. They don't see her take his toys, push his walker out of her room, etc. But, she actually is really sweet with him. Anyway, we spent most of the day with one of my best friends, Julie, and her kids, Austin-5, and Maisy-3. Enjoy the smilebox.
Love ya!

Quirks
There is a tag game going where you tag people and they have to list 7 quirks about themselves. So here I go:
1- I will watch political news/any news all day long. It is almost as ridiculous as the amount of time that Tony spends watching ESPN.
2- When I take out the kitchen garbage, I hate to replace the bag. I spray the lysol in the can, but do not replace the bag. I will hang a plastic grocery store bag on the kitchen doorknob to use instead.
3- I try on atleast 4 different combos of clothing each day before deciding what to wear.
4- To build on that, I pick from 5 or 6 shoe choices as well.
5- I hate filling the car with gas. When the check gages light comes on I make sure that I send Tony on an errand so that he will see it and go get gas! Hee hee hee! It has nothing to do with the price of fuel, I have always done this.
6- I refuse to put Tony's laundry away. I will scrub floors, clean out the refridgerator, dust every corner of the house, move furniture around, and pull out my toe nails before putting his laundry away. Thus, he lives out of a laundry basket. Good thing that his work uniform goes to the dry cleaner!
7- If I decide to cook, it will be something that comes from a recipe (that includes the back of a hamburger helper box). I do not have a creative bone in my body, from scrapbooks to the kitchen. Thus, I prefer bean and bacon soup with a piece of toast for my dinner. Okay, so this actually adds up to the revelation that I HATE TO COOK!!!
So, if you read this, and want to play, then you're it. Let me know in my comments if you are going to make a quirks post on your blog, or just do it in my comments. It is kind of fun, so have at it. Love you all! (I think!)

VOTE!
These creations at the annual Pumpkin Walk are too good not to share. Enjoy, and make your voting decision based on the facts, not the pumpkins!
Ashlie quote - During Obama's infomercial (which was good, but had no new info) she looked at the tv and said "That's Ovama huh Mom? He's our new coach, right?"
