I love love love this time of year! Back to school, football, cool evenings, pretty leaves, and our wedding anniversary are just a few of the reasons. Ashlie started 2nd grade yesterday. She is really growing up on me. What a smart and sweet girl she is. She is sooo excited to have Mrs. Hoggan for her teacher. Today she rode her bike with the neighborhood girls, Emma, Alyssa, Hallie, and Savanah. I was a bit nervous, but know they made it okay. I am glad that we have such great neighbors. We really are blessed to live in such a great neighborhood. Ashlie will be in Girl Scouts again this year, and I will volunteer as a leader again. She is dancing again this year and will be on the performing team this year. This is exciting to see her develop as a dancer and to see how well she can do. Her friend Kim Peterson is on the team so that is great. It will be fun to spend time with the Peterson's at competitions and such.
Maxx is going to do online preschool. I have had the hardest time letting him go. I think it may be that he is my baby baby!!! It is hard to let the youngest go, and I think harder when you have lost a child. So he will have the online preschool, and then we are doing a music/art/organized play group with Camille Pederson & Leah, a neighbor, Trina Dayley & Donovan, girl scout leader with me, and we are trying to get one more participant. This will be good for Maxx to get some socializing and fun time each week. He is also joining the Tumbling Tigers at LaShar's. He will be a cute little tumbler.
Sarah and her family left on Saturday after 18 days in Utah. What a wonderful time to have them here. That sweet Macie of hers is just too cute! I love that little chunky legged Mommas girl! Rocco and Maxx played and had fun together. Ashlie stepped in as Macie's care takes are much as we let her. It was so nice to have a mom with three daughters and all of our kids outing to Salt Lake City. We visited the planetarium, watched a 3D Imax movie, swam at the hotel, went to Temple Square and all of the visitor centers, then went shopping for school clothes at City Creek. We also ate out the entire time and I have vowed not to eat out for at least 2 weeks! Sarah and I got a few walks in, we also hit the county fair. So glad she likes animals and their poop, because I was able to keep my distance from the animal displays (??) while she showed the kids. Lots of fun! We did a walking tour of USU, her alma mater. Maxx and Rocco had a good pine cone disagreement that had us laughing. I am ready to see them again at Christmas!
We are now back to a schedule with no more lazy mornings. We are all ready for that. Happy Autumn time! (I will be ready for spring in 8 months :))

How life goes by so quickly. Matthew is going to do tumbling too. That is funny. I am not sure what to do with Matthew and school. I planned on just having him home but who knows. Dallin is a year ahead here too so I am not sure what this year is going to bring there but I guess we will figure it out. House has been slow and a horriable experince. Its pretty frustrating but we are working through it. I am glad you were able to be with Sarah for such a long time. What a blessing sisters are. Miss you sweet friend!
