We had the best visit with Sarh, JD, and Rocco. It was so wonderful just to hang out, let the kids get to know each other, and hold that little nephew, who is actually not so little anymore. Rocco was really interested in Maxx. Ashlie loved to feed Rocco, and is now very excited for Maxx to get old enough to eat big boy food. We had a Rocco's first bday party, Maxx's blessing, and went to Lava Hot Springs. Tony and JD almost got busted by the mean lady at Lava for sleeping in the camper, we had the yearly squabble over the room temp with Mother, and we hit the olympic pool for some swimmin!
Ashlie is missing the Sparks family so much already. She keeps asking when it will be Christmas, and has shed some middle of the night tears over their abscence.

I know they had a wonderful time. They were really glad JD was able to spend the extra week there. Sarah was impressed of the need for preparation while reflecting on the natural clalaties they have witnessed (or will witness now that they are back) over the last year or so. Tornados, ice storms, record snow fall, and now floods.
