Daddy's Lil' Helper!

"Always helpin'"! A direct quote from Ashlie. Last night I began scolding her for getting in the fridge. She then told me that she was getting Maxxwell's medicine. I sighed, and then praised her for being such a great helper and big sister. She looked at me with the cutest expression and said, "Always helpin'." She has been helping Tony with the deck, no wonder it still is not done! The snowfall has not helped either. The neighbor kids all think that they should offer a helping hand as well. So Ashlie and Tony work on the deck, while Mommy and Maxxwell sit in the rocking chair for half the day because the silly boy must always be held if he is not sleeping. Even then, he prefers his swing. I must enjoy holding him because the day will soon come that he will not want to sit on his Mommy's lap. I best go check on my little helper. She is being awfully quiet!!
